Total Parental Nutrition (TPN)
- TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) for ambulatory patients, for short term (a few weeks) or long term (a few months).
- The advantage of doing TPN in office is the availability of physicians and nurses all the time to watch patient closely, and add anti-emetics, anti-allergic reactions, when needed. Also the availability of a lab will make all services done in one session.
